How to Stay Safe on Yanance

At Yanance, your safety is a top priority. To help protect your account and ensure a secure trading experience, we’ve compiled essential safety tips and best practices.

🔒 Stay Safe While Trading

1. Use the Trade Chat Exclusively
Always communicate within Yanance’s trade chat. Avoid clicking unfamiliar or suspicious links, especially phishing attempts.

  • Don’t switch to other offer links or cancel trades unless absolutely necessary.

  • Avoid trading outside Yanance; we can't support disputes that happen off-platform.

  • Before entering any details, double-check that your browser’s address is: https://yanance.com.

2. Never Share Personal Information
Keep your contact and personal details private. Sharing them may lead to impersonation, scams, or off-escrow trades, which are not protected.

3. Know Who the Real Moderators Are
Official Yanance moderators have unique chat bubbles and signatures. Familiarize yourself with these so you can spot impersonators easily.

🛡️ Secure Your Yanance Account

1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Activate 2FA from your account settings for added protection. We recommend using apps like Google Authenticator or Authy, though email-based 2FA is also available.

2. Set Up Security Questions
Choose memorable security questions during setup or anytime in your account settings. This adds another layer of account protection.

3. Monitor Active Sessions
Regularly review which devices are logged into your account via the Security tab.

  • Don’t recognize a device? Click the “X” to log out and change your password immediately.

🧰 Extra Protection Beyond Yanance

Even when you're not trading, these steps help keep your account and devices secure:

1. Passwords & Email Security

  • Create strong, unique passwords using a mix of upper/lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

  • Don’t reuse passwords—especially not between your email and Yanance account.

  • Never share your password—Yanance staff will never ask for it.

  • Protect your email address connected to Yanance, and don’t share it in trade chats.

  • Be wary of suspicious emails or SMS messages. Don’t click unknown links or provide personal information.

2. Maintain Device Health

  • Keep your OS, browsers, and apps up to date.

  • Avoid downloading untrusted or unnecessary software.

  • Use only licensed and trusted antivirus/firewall tools—and keep them updated.

3. Use Secure Internet Connections
Only connect via secure, password-protected networks. Wired connections or trusted Wi-Fi are always safer.

If you ever feel something’s off or receive suspicious communication, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. Stay alert, stay protected—and trade with confidence on Yanance.
